Tough as nails

Grandpa and Grandma Nielson were here visiting this past weekend for Dave's graduation and Grandpa made the comment that Conner has had more head injuries than any of his boys growing up. The day after they leave Conner does it again. We were coloring eggs at the counter and Conner's chin got in the way of the counter and he bit through his bottom lip. Not to much blood this time but it was gaping open. I hurried and ran him down to the doctors office (luckily they were open). The doctor put super glue over the hole and off we went. His lower lip covers the hole, so it isn't that noticable. You can see the glue on the inside of his mouth though. Last week Conner and Ryker were supposed to be getting ready for bed and Ryker dared Conner to jump off the top bunk onto a bunch of things. Of course, Conner took the dare, he landed on a plastic tote and it shattered and poked his head pretty good. These are just the past two weeks- I could share many many more. Please don't report me to child protective services.

Conner didn't even relieze what happened to his head until after Brad got done giving them a lecture about going to bed when your asked. This was taken after Brad took him to the bathroom to show him his face.
