Both Boys are doing well. Just thought I would share a few pictures of them. I don't have time for much these days. The twins give me enough time to put in a load of laundry or do dishes but nothing extra. As soon as I sit down to the computer one starts crying. Right now Ryker is holding Kolby so I can type. So I will just say life is busy and we are happy.
Ready for church (it took us 3 hrs the 1st week I brought them to get all 7 of us ready and out the door. We have improved we are now down to 2 hrs and that was me by myself getting all 5 ready while Brad was at meetings. I was very proud of myself.)
Don't they look thrilled when Brynlee shows up :)
Ryker and Conner are my other set of hands during the day. They have gotten really good at feeding and burping.

Halloween and stitches
I have seen those two words together before I swear? 5 years ago Conner had stitches on Halloween night. This time is wasn't one of my kids with the stitches (shocker, I know) it was Brad. He was doing something with a gun and came home a little bloody. Our deductible was met for the year so no big deal. The doctor told him he would write him a note saying he didn't have to wake up at night with the twins due to his injury. Brad is too nice not to help me though.
Halloween was something Brad and I had to force ourselves to enjoy for the kids. Life has been a little hectic that I didn't plan much for the holiday. Good thing about kids is they make every holiday fun. We did squeeze in time to carve pumpkins for FHE. Ryker carved his on his own this year and was a very proud Boy Scout. Conner had his carved like Iron Man and Brynlee just a fun face. Costumes this year were pretty easy. Ryker was a werewolf ( he designed his own costume and loved how he looked), Conner was Iron Man and Brynlee was a ladybug. Brad took Brynlee trick or treating, The neighbor girls took Conner and Taylee and Ryker went with friends. The kids had a great Halloween!

I am still alive
The twins are almost two weeks old and honestly I am glad those weeks are past. I don't wish away the newborn stage but I do wish away the way my body feels those first few weeks of recovering. I can honestly say that now I am feeling a whole lot better. I have energy again! I think because I felt so immobile the last 3 months of pregnancy I have forgotten how it feels to feel normal, you know bend over, put on shoes and socks with out assistance, wipe up messes...I can be mom again and the kids are loving that.
I took the boys in for there 1st check up(with my moms help and Brynlees) and both boys lost some weight but not much. Now Kessler is weighing more than Kolby. Both boys are eating well and sleeping great. In fact they have been going to bed around 10:30pm and sleeping until 3am to eat and back to sleep till about 7am. I think that is one of the blessings I get for carrying them so long in my tummy. Kessler is my relaxed baby, he mostly moans and makes sweet noises to show that he is content. Kolby is a fighter, he attacks the bottle to eat and arches his back all the time. They both resemble the brother they look alike. Ryker was a lot like Kolby as a baby and looks like him and Kessler looks a lot like Conner did and acts like he did. It is fun to watch that.
Today I got ready and went to sacrament meeting, it has been 3 weeks since I have been to church. It felt so good to feel and look normal and feel the spirit. Conner gave a talk for the primary program and I didn't want to miss it. Courtney came over and sat with the boys so I could go. Life is crazy and sometimes i want to cry but I wouldn't change a thing. I have 5 kids!!!!

Things 1 and 2
My sweet sisters made me have another baby shower. I really didn't want one because I had one with Ryker and Brynlee. They insisted I needed another one because I was having twins. If Courtney didn't make me I probably wouldn't have had one but she is a very persistent sister. I will say now that it is over and done with I am glad to have had one. The theme was Things 1 and 2 (Dr. Seuss). It turned out so cute and I have so many generous family, friends, and neighbors who spoiled me and these two boys. Since Tiffany has moved away, Courtney got stuck with most of the work. She out did herself!! We had Italian cream sodas, artichoke dip (my fav), cute cupcakes, little pork sandwiches, truffles and I am sure lots more. I was sick that day so I didn't get to eat much, what a bummer. Even though Tiff moved away she still sent her personal touches to the party. Almost all the decorations were made by her as well as the cute invitations. Alea also came and helped Courtney set up that day and the party was a success. Thanks again Courtney and Tiffany, you are the best sisters.

Ryker's Baptism
Ryker was baptized on September 3rd by his daddy. What a wonderful day that was. I hope our family never forgets the special feelings we had. I am very proud of Ryker. He and his cousin Jacey decided earlier in the year to make a goal to read the entire Book of Mormon before there baptisms. We finished the day of his baptism. Ryker had a hard time understanding lots of it but he tried and there were many times that I didn't know if we could finish in time. But I am glad we did because we had wonderful discussions about the stories and both of our testimonies were strengthened. I am not only grateful that Brad could preform this sacred act but also that he took the time to prepare Ryker for this special event.
(not the best family photo but sadly the only one I took)
Grandpa and Grandma Nielson, Grandpa Sillito, and Greg and Brooke and there family all traveled to make it to his baptism. Thank -you. Also in attendance was Court and kids, Terrill and Heather and kids, Dave and Alea and kids, and Justin and Michelle and kids. His grandparents each bore there testimonies to Ryker which was very special and Conner gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and did a great job.
After the Baptism we had a lunch at the pond. It was a wonderful day!

Ryker's 8th Birthday
The 8th Birthday is a big birthday. Ryker decided to celebrate his Birthday with a party down at the pond with some friends after school. Thank goodness for the pond, I love that place. The kids had a wonderful time and ate junk food for a couple hours straight. Ryker requested nachos, candy and cake and ice- cream. I delivered. I am sure some of those boys went home with a stomach ache. The day ended up being a little cool but they still swam and got wet. I enrolled Courtney as well as my friend Emily to come help me. I am so glad I did they were such a big help. Ryker had a wonderful day and we are so happy he came to our family. He is a leader by nature and I know he was meant to be mine. I love him so much and am so proud of him.
He also started Scouts. Nothing is cooler than that when your an 8 year old boy.
